From her home deep in a forest in Sweden, Ana Patan and her Framus Renegade perform “General Conspiracy,” the second track from her album, “Spice, Gold and Tales Untold.” The backing track is Jonas Hellborg (formerly with Ginger Baker and Mahavishnu Orchestra) on bass and Zoltan Csörsz on drums. “My Renegade isn’t old, but Framus has been making guitars since the ’50s and this one is heavily modified,” Ana said. “Its True-Temperament frets were created in Sweden by Anders Thidell.” Catch our review of the album in the October issue.
