Luthier Ben Wilborn is donating a guitar to be raffled to benefit two charities during this year’s Woodstock Invitational Luthiers Showcase, October 27-29 in Woodstock, New York.

The annual event is a show and gathering place for acoustic-guitar and stringed-instrument builders, players, and collectors. This year, Wilborn is donating his Lion #117, valued at $7,100, with all proceeds going to Family of Woodstock, which provides shelter, food, and other support for victims of domestic violence, and the D’Addario Foundation, a grant-making organization that provides support to music-instruction programs.
