In collaboration with PBS’ “Great Performances” series, The Recording Academy will air “Grammy Salute To Music Legends,” a concert honoring this year’s recipients of the Academy’s Special Merit Award. Taped at the Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, the special includes tribute performances and video packages celebrating each recipients’ contributions along with performances by Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady (Jefferson Airplane), Ry Cooder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Herbie Hancock, Kris Kristofferson, J.D. Souther, and others. Presenters include David Crosby, LL Cool J, Don Was, and more.

The program will air October 14 at 9 p.m. (Eastern).
