In a ceremony prior to a performance in Nashville on June 12, Hank Williams, Jr. was presented with a Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Gold plaque denoting more than 500,000 sales and streams of his single “Family Tradition,” as well as a Platinum plaque for more than one million sales and streams of “A Country Boy Can Survive.”
Williams recently released his 37th studio album, It’s About Time, and his latest latest singles, “The Party’s On” and “Are You Ready for the Country” with Eric Church. He also brought Justin Moore and Chris Janson onstage to perform “Born to Boogie.”
Williams’ summer tour will include eight co-headline dates with Chris Stapleton.
