The Vintage D-Day Mandolin is a reproduction of a 1940 Regal used by an American soldier who carried it during the landings at Omaha beach on June 6, 1944. It has a white ash body, Nyatoh neck and rosewood fingerboard, aged hardware as a nod to the original, and displayed replicas of inscriptions carved by the owner his fellow soldiers.
