GHS Strings is offering sets in the company’s new NitroPack, which it says ensures the strings arrive fresh. The packaging is tear-resistant, seals the strings in a “nitrogen environment.,” and is being used on Thin Core Boomers, Thick Core Boomers, and David Gilmour signature sets. GHS anticipates having all guitar strings packed in NitroPacks by the end of 2015. If a customer finds any oxidized or corroded strings in a NitroPack, GHS will replace them, free of charge.
