Someone modified poorly then gave up on this 1961 Gretsch 6118 Double Anniversary. I took it from its chewed-up pickup openings, stripped-and-brushed-on varnish state and transformed it to a very playable guitar, and pretty sexy too. All new wiring, late ’50s Dynasonic, early ’60s P90 (with matching cover), Gretsch by Bigsby B6, ABR-1 and fresh nitro finish it off.
