The Lance Armstrong Foundation is set to raise proceeds for its cancer awareness efforts with a guitar raffle. Tickets are being sold through June 2 with the drawing scheduled that day in Tryon, North Carolina. The guitar is a cutaway dreadnought made by Jay Lichty with back and sides made of hormigo, and a cedar top.
The raffle is being coordinated by John Cash, an advocate for the Lance Armstrong Foundation and local cancer survivorship programs. He is the owner of Nature’s Storehouse, a health-food market in Tryon. Tickets for the raffle are $50, with sales limited to 100. They can be purchased by calling (828) 859-6356.
