Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Gary Clark Jr. has been invited to perform at all of this year’s major American music festivals, including Bonnaroo, Coachella and Montreal’s Osheaga Festival, Sasquatch!, the NOLA Jazz & Heritage Festival, and many other top-line festivals whose line-ups will be announced in the coming weeks.
With a varied set, the Austin native has spent the last year touring the U.S, Europe, and the U.K., performing everywhere from sold-out clubs to stadiums with Eric Clapton. He has appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, at high-profile benefit shows with Alicia Keys and The Roots, played for President Obama at the White House, and performed alongside Mick Jagger and Jeff Beck. He also performed at New York’s Apollo Theater alongside Keith Richards, Eric Clapton and others for a memorial tribute to the late, great Hubert Sumlin Jr.
