This is a wonderful 15 watt guitar amp that can go from clean to crunch to ultra high-gain with results that are nothing short of spectacular (really!) Built by Mark Sampson (Matchless, Bad Cat,) this Class A, point to point, hand-wired combo amp comes with one 12" Celestion speaker specially made for Mark Sampson and Star Amps.
It is in pristine condition. I bought it 3 years ago and it has never left my apartment (I used it to record at home) so there are no gig/transportation scratches or abuse on it.

2009 Matchless Nighthawk Head
Awesome 15 watt head from Matchless. Mint condition, only a few hours on the tubes. Essentially channel 2 of the C-30, down to the click-tone pot. Sounds incredible. Hard to find. This one also features the back-lit Matchless logo (most don't) and it was built with one of the last Sampson-era chassis'!

As LOW as I can go-MUST sell NOW! 2x10 (alnico speakers) and 2-6V6 output tubes. 2 channels each with Volume, Tone and hi/lo inputs. Channel 1 has excellent vibrato. All original except vibrato foot switch missing. Amp is in excellent + condition. Hate to part with it, great guitar amp-perfect for clubs. Have even used it with keyboards and it worked exceptionally well-just a great amp, but I have been laid off for over 7 months and haven't been gigging enough to make up the difference-so am offering it for sale.
